Cerulean Portland Tasting Room
Wine – Pure Natural Authentic
1439 NW Marshall Street
Cerulean Wine opened our Portland tasting room in 2013. Cerulean offers a relaxed ambiance, with subdued lighting, original exposed brick walls, wood beams, and art studio and display spaces. Located at 1439 NW Marshall Street, Cerulean has created a unique urban space in the Pearl, where guests can enjoy local, world-class wines and contemporary art in a fully restored 100-year old building.
Cerulean’s Portland space was inspired by a trip to a wine tasting room, or enoteca, in Montalcino, Italy, where the owners spent an afternoon sipping great wine inside an ancient walled city while sampling outstanding, simple local charcuterie and cheese. Feeling that a similar, locally inspired but cosmopolitan space was missing from the Pearl, we set about creating the same feeling in Cerulean ‘s new art and wine studio.
Cerulean Wine offers a complete wine list from our family-owned winery based in Hood River, OR. Cerulean is focused on making wine the way it was meant to be – pure, natural, and authentic. The wines are handcrafted to reflect the land and climate in which the grapes are grown and to pair well with food, making them perfect for sharing with friends and family. The owners and their children personally hand trim and pick the grapes on their organic estate vineyard. Acadia Vineyards has 72 acres growing 7 varietals of organic vinifera grapes and 5 varieties of organic pears on Underwood Mountain nestled alongside the Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge AVA.
Our Portland space features multiple seating areas with couches perfect for meeting friends, intimate tables for sampling our wines, and 12 seats at the 30-foot long, beautiful bamboo and steel tasting bar, as well as open air seating during warmer months in Portland.
We welcome you to enjoy our home away from home in the Pearl District of Portland.
