To this list of great combinations, you can now add Italy and Spain, or more precisely, Barbera and Tempranillo. These two classic grapes form the core of our 2013 Red Sky Blend. The 2013 vintage is full of red cherry and raspberry notes, with a nice, crisp acidity and low tannins. Pair this wine with hearty grilled meats, soft French cheese, or enjoy on its own.

Winemaking

A great harvest produced an excellent medium-bodied Tempranillo and a full, lush Barbera, which became the foundation for our 2103 Red Sky Blend. The Tempranillo was fermented with 50% whole clusters then barrel aged for 12 months before blending, just before bottling.
